About us

Alison Smith and Tracey Golon first met as neighbors in Fairfield, CT in 2005.  After the birth of her first child, Tracey found that linking up with other modern metro NYC moms was difficult while navigating life with a new baby as well.  Add to that the multiple hours and connections necessary to find the best fit services for the new little one and new motherhood can be very isolating.  Fast forward to 2009 and Alison welcomed in her first little one and the cycle repeated.  With a background in production and the trade show industry, Tracey came up with the idea for ModMa and together Alison and Tracey have worked to bring a group to Fairfield County that links modern mamas with the latest tips and trends to maintain personal identity while being a great mom!
