As all of you likely know at this point, hundreds of thousands of people have died in the Haiti earthquake and millions have been devastated by the disaster. ModMa would like to assist in your efforts to give back. Americares is a not for profit organization here in Fairfield County with a long reputation of giving back to Haiti through the years and 99% of funds given go to the cause. In fiscal year 2009, every $100 donated enabled AmeriCares to deliver more than $3,500 in humanitarian aid. That includes everything from medicines like antibiotics and analgesics to medical supplies like bandages, syringes and nutritional supplements.
